Hi Nesrine,

Our QA team had some questions about the feature "loan schedule
independent of meeting schedule" and how this feature interacts with
other features in Mifos. I'm hoping you can answer these questions!

(*) Bulk Entry:
We know that this feature does not work with bulk-entry. We'll plan to
test this to make sure that the bulk entry fails "gracefully" when this
configuration is enabled.

(*) Re-do loan disbursal:
Do you know how the feature "Loan schedule independent of meeting
schedule" interacts with the re-do loan pipeline? If Enda needs to
re-do a loan using this pipeline, can they redo a disbursement and
payments on non-meeting days? This might have been something that was
missed. Is this a requirement for Enda?

(*) Multiple loan creation:
How does "Loan schedule independent of meeting schedule" interact with
the "multiple loan creation" pipeline (this is a link on the left hand
column on "clients and accounts" page)? Can you create multiple loans
outside of a meeting schedule or does your feature not work in this
pipeline? If Enda doesn't use this pipeline, then this is something we
can fix in a future release.

(*) How are back-dated payments handled?
If Mifos is configured with "loan schedule independent of meeting
schedule" and "back-dated payments" both turned on-- what sort of date
validation does the system do on back-dated payments? Currently Mifos
prevents a user from entering in a backdated payment that is earlier
than the previous meeting day-- but if a loan schedule isn't tied to a
meeting, what restrictions are in place? Aliya and I recommend that a
payment can only be back-entered back until the date of the previous
payment-- but you shouldn't be able to backdate a payment *prior* to an
earlier payment:

Does Enda use back-dated payments?

Sorry for all the emails, Nesrine. We can also schedule a quick chat if
that's easier,

Cheers,
Emily.
