Ananth, I hope the files that Chandi sent you below resolve your problems. I suspect you may have encountered something I also ran into last week. The test data sets mentioned on mifos.org point to a different database by default (not mifos). Chandi's attachment does point to 'mifos', but you might check your MySQl catalogs to see if you have a DB named 'mifos_test' or 'mifos_11704'. If this is the case, then the restore is actually restoring your data to the wrong location. I will make a note to update the data sets on the server, but in the meantime I believe the attached dataset should solve you issues. If you are still having problems, please attach any error log you receive.
