I’m copying the Mifos functional list on your question since I’m sure others
will have this question too, in the future.
The configuration items below (particularly the ones related to rounding rules
– rounding mode/round of multiple) affect the calculation of the amortization
schedule. The first few (digits before and after decimal) only affect the
display of numbers in the UI, not the actual calculations.
One thing to note is that the items that affect the actual
rounding/calculations of the loan schedules will impact Mifos loan schedules as
well as reports. Those related to the display of numbers will only affect the
Mifos UI, not the reports. In the reports themselves, you will have to design
them to show the same number of digits after the decimal as you have configured
in the UI.
