most technical of users but I'll try and point you in a couple
directions that may assist you:

Take a look at the SchemSpy output - http://build.mifos.org/schemas to
see the current Mifos DB Schema.

Secondly, please also look at the Business Object Mode diagrams that
Kevin Shea put together:
