Can't delete default loan amount when creating a loan account

REPRO:
1. Find a client and start the process to create a loan
2. Click on the loan amount and hit backspace to delete
EXPECTED:
Allows user to delete amount and re-enter a new one
RESULT
Backspace does not work
WORKAROUND: Select amount and select delete
I was able to repro this on
KEEF
SECDEP Testing Server (1.4.2)
I was not able to repro this on:
the Demo server
mifos testing server
