Hi there! I've got some comments.
Disclaimer: I'm not a Web design expert.
I attached "old_vs_new.zip", screenshots of Firefox 3.5.8 on Ubuntu 9.10.
login_old.png vs. login_new.png
* "Welcome to mifos" and other "normal" text looks fine!
* the word "Login" looks different: grey instead of black, and smaller
* colons are in a different place
* the "new" page is, IMHO, spaced out too much.
* the login box should be placed in the middle of the page, not in a specific
position, and should re-center if the browser width is changed
* text fields look different... they're squared instead of using the default
look & feel, and seem to line up differently
clientsAcc_old.png vs. clientsAcc_new.png
* same "spaced out too far" issue with the login page
* text "Mifos, HO" looks smaller
* "All Branch Offices" dropdown looks customized (why?)
* "All Branch Offices" dropdown doesn't line up with search text input field
* "Home", "Clients and Accounts", "Reports", "Admin" are supposed to look like
tabs, so they should touch the orange bar that runs the width of the page.
Rounded corners on those tabs might also be nice
