Mifos has moved source control from subversion to git. With git, each revision
is marked with a sha1 string.
from earlier irc chat:
[12:37] <vanmh> meonkeys: so it would probably be something like <project
name>-<build number> (eg. trunk-1256 )
[12:38] <meonkeys> so, maybe we display something like this:
[12:38] <meonkeys> Release: Mifos 1.5.0.1
[12:39] <meonkeys> Build ID: abf291821decc-2010-05-04_1538Z-trunk-1256
[12:39] <meonkeys> (on the sys info page)
The above Build Id is descriptive, but too much info?
