The "expand tree" icon appears to be in
application/src/main/webapp/pages/framework/js/jstree/themes/default/d.png
(e.g.:
http://ci.mifos.org:8085/mifos/pages/framework/js/jstree/themes/default/d.png )
The way to go is probably making a custom jsTree theme.
