NPE navigating to remove group membership

In testing add/remove group membership on this 1.6.x test instance -
http://ci.mifos.org:8110/mifos - one client specifically causes an NPE when
navigating to the Remove Group Membership page.
Haven't been able to repro with other clients, but would am logging this issue
in hopes the stack trace points to something in the code or the data for that
client.
Repro steps:
1. go to http://ci.mifos.org:8110/mifos
2. login, search for client 0002-000000059
3. click Edit / Remove Group membership
4. click Click here to remove group membership.
Result: see attached stack trace.
Expected result: get to remove membership page.
