Answers to question group questions do not preserve accented characters
(possibly a problem with preserving UTF-8?). When a question group question is
answered, the response is copied into the 'response' column of the
question_group_responses table. The characters that end up in the 'response'
column do not match the characters from the question_choices.choice_text column.
Attached is a PPI question group with accented characters that can be loaded by
putting it in the .mifos/uploads/questionGroups folder and then choosing to
activate the question group for SENEGAL2009.
An example is when choosing the answer:
'Lampe tempête ou lampe a pétrole artisanale'
it is stored as:
'Lampe tempête ou lampe a pétrole artisanale'
and
'Groupe électrogene, solaire, lampe à gaz ou électricité (SENELEC)'
is stored as:
'Groupe électrogene, solaire, lampe à gaz ou électricité (SENELEC)'
this breaks PPI scoring functionality for surveys with these characters.
