I cannot reproduce this error. After I answered some PPI the response is
identical with choice_text:
select count(*) from question_group_response join question_choices on
question_group_response.response = question_choices.choice_text;

Can you provide more information about your system settings (locale, charsets,
etc.) for both jvm and database?
