We just fixed a scenario where changing the interest rate at the savings
product level wouldn't be applied to all active accounts. Unfortunately,
application of this feature may have been too narrow and it makes more sense to
have any changes to a savings product cascade down to all active savings
products.
We ran into an issue with SECDEP where they need to up the default deposit for
their savings product. They can do this, but its a manual process for each
account (so for 8000 accounts, this is a long process). This also makes it
harder for them to switch correctly.
Probably worth looking at the savings product and see where it makes sense for
what values to cascade to all active products.
