Michael Vorburger commented on MIFOS-4748:
------------------------------------------
Until this is done, I've taken the liberty to revert
http://mifosforge.jira.com/wiki/pages/diffpagesbyversion.action?pageId=7340052&selectedPageVersions=26&selectedPageVersions=25
and add this back on to
http://mifosforge.jira.com/wiki/display/MIFOS/Workspace+2.0 :
On the very first use of the new workspace (only), you'll need to do an {{mvn
install}} in the (new) mifos-reporting-libs Maven module, either via mvn CLI in
the {{reporting-libs}} directory or in mifos-report-libs project in Eclipse
launch the mvn install launch configuration, to get the BIRT JARs which are not
available on Maven central into your local Maven repo.
> org.mifos.birtlibs should be on maven.mifos.org

> It would be convenient if the org.mifos.birtlibs were on maven.mifos.org.
> This would save the current manual and somewhat confusing step / req of
> needing to do mvn install in reporting-libs.
> MIFOS-4747 would alleviate this problem somewhat, if that gets done, this may
> be less important (opinions?)
> This is only for "first-time set-up convenience" - I'd still very much lave
> the mifos reporting-libs/ module as-is, for clarity, if the remote repo is
> down, etc.
> I think this used to work (Adam did it), but as of now (today) is broken
> again.
