Recent commits provide ability to:

  • waive loan charge
  • modify loan charge (change date its due or amount being charged)

I'll probably close off this issue for now and open up seperate ones for any feedback. Some things that can be added easily enough going forward if need be are:

  • Ability to 'write-off' a charge (if that actually makes any sense)
  • Ability to waive a partial amount of a charge.

As mentioned earlier I ommitted doing the following right now but it would be good to know if the following is needed:

  • Client charges (charges directly on the client not because of loan etc)
  • Tax: the client doesnt actually pay the tax, its bundled up in processing fee charge so do you require ability to have this calculated for you by the portfolio system?

As a reminder I should also add the following derived columns to loan table for convenience of querying

  • total outstanding
  • total overdue
  • total original cost of loan (when loan was disbusre, perfect on-time repayment scenario)
  • total cost of loan (taking into account interest, fees and penalty payments todate and projected ones)
