We should probably rename "m_loan_transaction " to "m_loan_events" (I think johnwoodlock / you had suggested this earlier![]()
). Interest waiver and Charge waivers are also being logged here (these are also not technically transactions) and we additionally log fee/penalty/interest application here to support accrual accounting
I would be happy to make this change is you think it is appropriate
Accrual accounting support as short term target still seems acheivable (It works to a certain extant, all we need would be a batch job for "applying" interest on payment dates instead of it being done upfront as it currently is. This would work very well for GK)
Also, the upfront interest "applied" is a real scenario too, so as is we can say that we have support for one type of accrual accounting. Would be happy to discuss further on what changes need to be done![]()
