you seem to be looking for an improvement here. A way to list out all datatabes in the database; those that are registered agaisnt an application table and those that are not. That is nothing to do with a 'bug' or functional issue with the intended design of the area.
On the possibility of having this improvement: feel free to create an improvement issue for this ability but take the following into account:
There is no way to find out what tables exist in database that are supposed to be datatables and for a given entity without reading meta information and checking to see what foreign keys they have to application tables. It might be the case that some tables are just added by MFI and not intended for 'datatable' usage.
