The majority of the standard reports that ship in Mifos X are screen-based stretchy reports. They work great for on-screen display and exporting to Our legacy codebase, contained a spreadsheet. number of
However they lack any formatting so can't be used for PDF output for print viewing.
In total there are about 30 stretchy reports in Mifos X. You can view these on the demo server: https://demo.openmf.org (mifos/password)
This volunteer task would entail taking the SQL queries for these stretchy reports and designing a report in Pentaho format.
The queries for the reports are already written and can be found in the report_sql column in the stretchy_report table in the Mifos X database.
The designs for these reports exist to some extent. All of the previous reports in Mifos 2.x are written in Pentaho format so these existing designs could be used as a starting point.
Instructions: * Download and install Pentaho Report Designer * Create report in Pentaho format * Use SQL queries for the stretchy reports found in the Mifos X database (see above) * Use existing designs from Mifos 2.x to the extent that you can. * Test these reports against dummy data ** Install Mifos X Platform locally with dummy data & then run report
