Our legacy codebase, contained a number more than 35 standard reports written in Pentaho. Some of these reports have yet to have been replicated for our new Mifos X codebase.
However they lack any formatting so The existing design of these Pentaho reports can 't be re- used but the SQL queries need to be rewritten because they're running against the new data schema for PDF output for print viewing.
In total there are about 30 stretchy reports in Mifos X . You can view these on the demo server: - https:// demo mifosforge . openmf jira . org (mifos com / password) wiki/display/MIFOSX/Mifos+X+Database
This volunteer task would entail taking the SQL queries See this for these stretchy list of existing reports and designing a report in Pentaho format .
The queries See this link for the reports are already written and can be found in the report_sql column in the stretchy_report table in the Mifos X database.
The designs for these reports exist that still need to some extent. All of the previous reports in Mifos 2.x are written in Pentaho format so these existing designs could be used as a starting point. <add link>
Instructions:
* Download and install Pentaho Report Designer (3.9.1)
* Create report Download existing reports from <add link>
* Rewrite in Pentaho format .
* Use Rewrite SQL queries for the stretchy reports found in the against Mifos X database (see above) data schema
* Use existing designs from Mifos 2.x to the extent that you can.
* Test these reports against dummy data
** Install Mifos X Platform locally with dummy data & then run report
