This mailing list thread gives good background discussion which establishes that the breadcrumbs should show the overall position within the hiearchy of the organization and not the history of browsing the app. I.e. Office >> Center >> Group >> Client >> Loan https://groups.google.com/d/msg/mifosusers/I2558iD8yo0/zCFsToJhS3kJ The only tricky part in Mifos X is that now a client can be a member of multiple groups (in Mifos 2.x there was a one to one relationship between client and group). For simplicity's sake, when a client belongs to multiple groups, version 1 of the breadcrumbs should simply contain the group the client first joined.
