Gaurav Saini Have removed GCI and volunteer tags from this EPIC as I am not too sure about the need or usability of the said feature.
In my mind, the objective of adding tooltips should be to provide explanations to confusing labels and thereby improve usability , especially around complex functionality like loan product creation etc. Some of the tooltips shown here are really removing text from buttons and adding them as tooltips might not add much value in terms of usability, I agree the buttons would look better without text, but what we end up doing is forcing a user to hover over a button to understand what it does.
For now, it would probably be better to use tooltips only for improving usability (lets put aside beautification), For example a tool tip next to a field say "In multiple of" while creating a loan product explains what the field does and would ideally link to our user documentation with details of how this feild affects the generated loan schedule etc.......
