Binny Gopinath Sreevas I actually strongly believe that users going into arrears following a prepayment is a bug. Especially if you look at the way this is handled currently in schedule vs transactions. For instance, client prepays 5,000. The schedule updates the principal for that instalment to 5,000 and calculates interest (let's say 60 in this example) and books: 4950 as principal, 60 as interest. But then leaves 60 principal behind as outstanding. If that bug is solved, what you describe here above, is no longer applicable and will work as well.
