[~binnygopinath] I actually strongly believe that users going into arrears following a prepayment is a bug. Especially if you look at the way this is handled currently in schedule vs transactions. For instance, client prepays 5,000. The schedule updates the principal for that instalment to 5,000 and calculates interest (let's say 60 in this example) and books: 4950 as principal, 60 as interest in the journals . But then in the schedules it updates the instalment amount to 5060 and leaves 60 principal behind as outstanding. If that bug is solved, what you describe here above, is no longer applicable and will work as well. But maybe better to jump onto a call later today. I'll see if I can prep some samples on the openMF demo.
