Hi

I've finally got around to setting up a new build system using Debian Linux
to track trunk. This is close enough to Ubuntu for the instructions on the
wiki to work, and I have successfully completed build and test of build
15127.

The deployment is intended to mimic a production system so there is no user
home directory as such to put a .mifos directory in to.

To me, the most sensible location for "local.properties" (and any other
run-time configuration files) is in a location like /etc/mifos, on the basis
that this is unlikely to get clobbered when a new WAR is deployed, so I need
to tell the application where to find this.

Looking at the suggestions on the Mifos Configuration Pages, the first
option would appear to be best, but where do I set the Java System property,
which I assume will be something like
"mifos.conf=/etc/mifos/local.properties"?

Regards
Graeme
