I went back to the testing server to refresh my memory around the UI. :) Upgrading to 1.6.x to 2.0.x does not migrate the old PPI data. It only migrates non-PPI data to QG.
There is a manual script for migrating old PPI data to QG. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2496715/mifos-ppi-migration-2.0-Final.zip PPI will be visible under "Question Groups" box after migration. We don't delete the survey data about PPI in the migration script. The PPI survey was visible under Survey box in 1.6.x, and "View Additional Information" box used to show Custom fields. So, I am not sure why PPI will be under "View Additional Information" box as it is a survey. We left "View Additional Information" box(data) in read only link so that if the migration fails for any data, user still be able to access that data. I am not sure I think we removed the View Additional Information box in 2.1.x. Now, if the old PPI is not being visible under "Question Groups" box in 2.1.x then the migration of PPI hasn't taken place in my understanding.
