Currently Mifos does not support this but I this feature will be a part of
Release H. Kindly look at the issue below for tracking this feature.

Subject: [Mifos-users] asked about setting automatic late fee
I want to ask about a late installment.
Late fee is calculated each day after the due date passes
per day late fee 0.5% of the installment
grace period after the due date is 2 days
for example:
maturity date on 22
now on 25
installment = 300 000
so that late fees are calculated for one day because there is a grace period
for 2 days
fines to be paid is = 0.5 * 300 000 = 1500 per day
so the total installments to be paid is 300000+1500 = 301500
whether mifos can cover for this case?
please give the instructions.
