Just to reinforce the importance to solve this issue.
Myself and Natu have 4 Clients with MIFOS 2.6.0 and have claims from all the
clients and we aren’t able to sort out. You can imagine the pressure that we
have now.

we have found the issue and have been able to resolve it. The problem stems
from having modified the AccountingRules.CurrencyCode line in your
applicationConfiguration.custom.properties file after products using that
currency were created. From what we have found, I believe that changing one
line (in the same file) from #AccountingRules.AdditionalCurrencyCodes= to
AccountingRules.AdditionalCurrencyCodes=INR (note the lack of the hash symbol
at the beginning of the line) will fix your issues.
We have been successful in replicating the error and fixing it as described
above. You should refrain from editing the default CurrencyCode in the future,
unless you're running a clean Mifos install without any loan data present, as
described in a comment in the applicationConfiguration.custom.properties file.
