All,
We are fixing some of the edge cases around interest recalculation. And we
are planning to add additional rules/constraints for interest recalculation
loans:
- No back-dated transaction will be allowed before the last date on
which client made a transaction (repayment of installment or fees etc.)
- If there is a fee/charge calculated that is a percentage of
"total interest" or "total of interest + principal" for the loan - and this
fee is applied prior to last client transaction or the fee has been waived,
then Mifos will not recomputed this fee.
Please let me know if there are any concerns. Else, these constraints may be
the next release.
