Well, that was a total stupid attack.... those values were in my
Mikrotik device profile already, but I was looking at the MIB instead of
applying the profile @_@

There is a OID for total memory and memory used. Would have to do a

Do you know if there's an OID for available memory? The standard SNMP
Meminfo OID didn't respond, and I don't see an OID for it in the
Mikrotik MIB.

Might want to check your memory consumption on the router and see
if your running any layer 7 firewall rules or Web proxy which both
can suck up memory like you had unlimited amount of ram.

Subject: [Mikrotik Users] Management agents not responding
Greetings,
I have a unit which is behaving oddly. It's an RB433 running ROS 6.20.
Recently, it began behaving a bit oddly in that it will stop
responding
to management request e.g. Winbox times out, telnet and SSH
connect and
ask for a username/password, but fail after about 60 seconds of
waiting
(for locally provisioned user e.g. admin).
The unit still passes payload traffic to/from the customers, and
responds successfully to SNMP queries. If I disable the uplink
interface
facing the device, the ping watchdog will successfully trip,
reboot the
device, and it will respond to management requests again... until it
stops - 'days' later.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
