Can the restore MAC address command be done remotely or must it be done via
wire on site? Will I be able to reconnect if done remotely.

I'm trying to log into a switch not an AP.

RB-450UP. MAC Add's copied over too??? There's More!!

/int ethernet reset-mac-address ether1

That will restore the mac address to it's manufacturer default.

You might want to look at export compact (which is by default now since v6)
that doesn't copy over the MAC addresses.

I restored files from a RB-450UP to a second RB-450UP

and the MAC addresses for all ports copied to the second

RB-450UP. I've never had this happen before. What is the

fix? I upgraded both devices to ROS v6.20. LAN ports

on both devices are also flapping every connected at the

comm site to the RB-450UP work just fine.
