This sounds like the problem Netonix was having with Ubiquiti Air Fibers -
a Pause Frame flood.  Their new firmware turns off the flow control on
their switches automatically if a pause frame flood is detected.

 I will turn off the the flow control on the Air Fiber connected to this
port and try that, thanks!
