Oddly enough, I happen to be working on one at this very moment.

Just tested, and yup, 1G optics work in the SFP+ port.

Subject: [Mikrotik Users] CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+PC

All, Any idea if this (https://routerboard.com/CCR1009-7G-1C-1SplusPC) supports
1G SFP's in the SFP+ port?

If I recall correctly. There was a group of CCR's that WOULD support 1gb SFP's
in the SFP+ port. And a group of them that would NOT. Something about if the
port was named sfp+1 vs SFP-PLUS-1 or something like that...

Plenty of language saying the 1C port supports 100Mb/s SFP's, As well as Gig,
But no language saying the SFP+ port would support anything but 10G...
