We already use Alvarion's 900 gear, been doing that for the last 6 years. We have also started to use Tranzeo's new 900 product and so far so good. What we are looking for is a quick way to change out the Alvarion gear since the radio is indoors and connects via LMR 400 to a yagi outside. With Tranzeo, we'd have to rip out the LMR cable and run new cat5e outside to the radio. Rather just build some indoor RB133c boxes with an N-connector and use the existing cable and yagi that is there. Just not sure which radio is going to work best for us.

What are your expectations for 900MHz?

From others on the list..... What kind of LOS and NLOS rages are you
seeing with Tik 900? How many customers per Tik 900 AP?

With my last employer we had several hundred Canopy 900MHz clients.
It is a huge pain in the butt. Probably a little more than 2.4
clients. If you can find a way to swing it and get Canopy 900 gear it
will be money well spent.

We'd like to go that route, but the cost is to rich for us at this time.
Need a CPE that is in the $200-$300 range and AP's that are reasonable
as well.

if you have a high noise floor I suggest using 900MHz Motorola Canopy.
It has it's own issues but it will fight through a lot of
interference.

We are looking to move to Mikrotik AP's and CPE's on the 900Mhz band.
What is the best radio to buy these days? SR9? XR9? Others?
