Hi Everybody:

Over the last two or three days a large number of our client's Linksys
wrt54g routers have been crashing and requiring reboots. This is
happening in some cases once an hour. I have been seeing both v.6 and
v.8 routers crashing. When it crashes it appears to stop responding
completely from both the WAN and LAN sides.

We have upgraded several of the routers with the latest firmware from
Linksys but this only lessens the problem to once every 3 hours.

There doesn't appear to be any pattern to the failures. Some have been
in the field for over a year, and one was installed this morning.

Most of the failing routers are hooked up to either tranzeo cpe90's or
cpe200's. But this isn't saying much as 25% of our clients are using one
of those radios. And we have never had any problems with this in the
past. The problem just appeared out of the blue.

If anybody has any ideas or input please let me know as I am pulling out
my hair trying to figure this one out.
