Taken from Randy Cosby on the Part 15 WISP list (including a later correction):

I read through the FCC filing as well. It's downright confusing. There
are actually two, one for the frequencies you specify, and one just for
3363.2-3363.2. Totally confusing.

Ubiquiti's docs also say they are Part 90Y compliant... Um, that's the
4.9 section :).

So... The good news. To get my feet wet, I tried to register a location
using the Ubiquiti card as the equipment, along with a panel 3.6
antenna. I specified the 3658.2-3668.2 frequencies on the application to
be safe. I got a call back from a rep at the FCC who said basically,
" I know that you probably pulled the frequencies off the ubiquiti
equipment filing, but you should instead put 3650-3675 (the restricted
band). If you will do that, we can get this approved."

So I did.

And it did.

Now, I do have some questions still. Is 3650 ONLY for fixed and mobile,
not PTMP? I know you have to register fixed stations (both sides) and
base stations. But if you're doing a typical AP / multiple CPE setup, is
that considered fixed on both ends, or ??

The card will not work in laptops according to their own filing.

Does MT yet support the XR3? On another list, I heard that the FCC allows registration of the XR3. We just need something to put it in.
