You can easily modify Butch's Perl script on his site to send the
commands to reset those ports.

Subject: [Mikrotik] Need to automate Disable/Enable of Interfaces via
Telnet

I have a project that Butch helped me with using Metarouter. What I
have noticed (and this may not be specific to this Metarouter setup),
that when sometimes after either rebooting devices or changing devices,
that the units no longer are accessible until I either unplug/replug
from Tik, or login and reset the ports.

I need a simple way of automating this, so that the end user can
ultimately click an icon on his desktop to reset ports 2-5 on a RB450G.

Anybody have anything in the arsenal to do that quickly ? Not had
experience doing anything to the Tiks via an "external script"

Paul, PDMNet
