Domain is set by DHCP. You then create the entries in DNS. I use this
from time to time.

Is that set by DHCP or the DNS redirect part of hotshot?

If you're using a hotspot DNS name like *hotspot.example.tld* and you set
the dhcp domain as *example.tld* then users *can* just type in *hotspot*
to
get to the status / logout page if that helps you.

Have a super mega nice day.

They have to browse to something like http://hospot.local/logout.html
You could have something on your website at bsrg.org/hotspot that
redirects
to 192.168.1.1/logout.html

I have read many times that the MT hotspot is supposed to allow a user
to
log out by typing something like "logout" in their browser address bar.
This would be so much easier than asking them to type the IP address of
the
HS gateway.
Anyone know how to get this to work?
