I had a pleasant surprise this morning. One of our guys swapped out a RB411AH board on a solar site, but moved it to "unregulated" power. Normally this will give us 28 or higher volts. I was about to warn him that it would be problem as the 411AH's were rated to 28V and would shut down if it surpassed 28.

Just to be sure of myself I picked up a new 411AH board and looked closely, and found that is now states "DC In 12-30V" right on the board. I don't have an old 411AH but do have a couple 411's, and they state 12-28V. Looks like recent production runs on the 411AH (and maybe other boards) will now handle up to 30V! Great improvement!
