I've tried restoring on 532, 493, 411, 433 with enough failures that it is faster to just do the import while reading the export line by line. Other boards I've just replaced and done a template from the wiki or just did what needed to be done to make it work.
I remember one 532 replaced ether1-5 with something like ether10-14 or something, so it was impossible to figure out what link was what and I just reset the sucker and started from scratch.
