I have replaced SR5 with R52nM in dual polarity mode and while signals are down a bit, through put is way up. This is in PtP, I have not done any 5GHz PtMP.

Has anyone compared the r52/h, r52hn and r52nm versus XR5?

The XR5, while pretty good, is $90. Mikrotik cards are less than $60. I
do need it to support 802.11a for older CPEs, but I'm expecting that won't
be an issue with those.
