I use the R52Hn cards as well. Work very well. It will work fine, just don't enable chain 2. I've had single chain things connect to dual pole sectors just fine as well.
Honestly, I don't know why anyone would continue to run single chain when there are so many benefits with dual chain. I guess it's just not an option financially sometimes.
