Have you checked the hardware queue for the wire interface to make sure it is not too small and/or wrong type?

I think there may also be some issues with SXTs. We had some up as backhaul links (short, like < 2miles) and just couldn't get the data rates. Changed to RB911s and wow what a difference.

I have a couple of business clients on PTMP access points (Omnitiks and BaseBoxes, with SXT as clients) that are getting perfect download speeds but their uploads are not good.

Bandwidth tests to the radios from the AP will go as high as 30meg, no problem. Computer plugged into the ethernet port of the customer radio testing to the AP only gets 8-12meg on upload. IP connection tracking is shut off, problem exists in both station-bridge and station mode, no firewall rules and no queues on the CPE. Queues on the AP were disabled for testing. CPU load was not a factor. Bandwidth tests using Windows client from computer plugged into the ethernet port of the CPE radio will do 100meg. Signal is in the -50 to -60 range. There is no interference - problem exists on all channels and is clearly within the radio.

This is on 6.17 firmware. Clients are set to "any" protocol, with AP set to NV2. Nstreme does not seem to work for some reason.

Any ideas? Why do we get the speeds to the rooftop radio but not to the device inside? Bizarre!
