IMNSHO heavier traffic should run from the AP to the client.  There are
tweeks in the protocols to make that work better.   BUT there is also
noise to take into account, we have seen conditions where switching ap
and client sides made things run better because of the client doing a
better job of ignoring noise.   YMMV..
