Greetings all,
I am new to the world of TeX and got here by way of a documentation extraction
application (declet) that deposits a single texinfo file in my documentation
directory. OK, so far, so good, but most people cannot read a .texi file. I
should probably mention I'm running Windows 10, meaning even fewer people would
know how to read it.
Whilst there is some information on the GNU website for texinfo, it is sparse,
and the latest executable for Windows is dated 2008, is 32 bit and seems
generally neglected as far as Windows is concerned.
So, with that preface, can anyone explain how I can process this file using
Miktex? I found a few references claiming that Miktex includes texi2dvi,
including one posting here on this list that seems to suggest that Miktex
includes both texi2dvi and texi2pdf, but I do not see these anywhere in my
distribution. The package manager does not seem to have these listed, nor does
the manual mention anything.
Can anyone here please point me to a reference or directions on converting a
TexInfo file to PDF and HTML?
Regards,    - Steve Nunez
