Thanks for all the help... Without Uvscan it seems to work better...sometimes we see the problem where the mimedefang.sock is not being created but if we restart the defang a few times, then it finally starts behaving.
We downloaded the 4320 engine of Uvscan which was supposed to fix the compatibility issue with newer versions of redhat but it still seems flakey...has anyone been able to get the 4320 engine to work on RH enterprise? The release notes don't mention anything about it... If uvscan is problematic can anyone suggest a good, solid antivirus that will run on RH Ent 3?
