I'm aware of this. However, surrounding the entire thing with the
opposite type of quotes or escaping the quote will get around that.
} So when I'm programming and I have to choose between English grammar
} and Bourne shell grammar, English grammar loses, alas. :-)
Presumably it worked before. So, can you tell why it is a problem
now?
