I made the same comment a few days ago. Email has lost all reliability because of SPAM. If you send a letter you take it for granted it arrives. If you send a fax you assume it gets there but it sometimes has problems getting to the correct desk. But if you send an email, you have to wait for a reply or follow-up that it arrived. It's very annoying.
