Hi, I've been running MIMEdefang (2.45) on Solaris 10 for the past couple of month, I stoped mimedefang along with sendmail and restarted (Started MIMEDEfang with the following commands:
/usr/local/bin/mimedefang-multiplexor -U defang -p /var/run/mimedefang-multiplexor.pid -m 10 -x 21 -b 300 -i 600 -q 30 -Q120 -r 500 -E -l /usr/local/bin/mimedefang -U defang -r -P /var/run/mimedefang.pid -p /var/spool/MIMEDefang/mimedefang.sock -m /var/spool/MIMEDefang/mimedefang-multiplexor.sock The /var/spool/MIMEDefang/mimedefang-multiplexor.sock is created srw------- 1 defang other 0 Aug 31 12:19 mimedefang-multiplexor.sock My folders are as follows: drwx------ 2 defang root 512 May 5 10:51 MD-Quarantine drwx------ 61 defang root 7680 Aug 31 12:19 MIMEDefang In my sysog I receive this: Aug 31 11:06:16 mx2 mimedefang-multiplexor[14868]: [ID 268819 mail.info] started; minSlaves=10, maxSlaves=21, maxRequests=500, maxIdleTime=600, busyTimeout=300, clientTimeout=10 Ususally after this slaves are brought up to the minSlaves amount, this unfortuantly is not happening anymore, after checking /var/spool/MIMEDefang there is no mimedefang.sock I tried upgrading to MIMEDEfang 2.52, this created the mimdefang.sock and launched the slaves, but as soon as email's started to flow MIMEDefang started to temp fail. Currently I'm bypassing MIMEDefang, Can anyone shed some light on why the mimedefang.sock just stoped working?
