Actually, his transaction DOES show the 250 line.
No it doesn't - the lines are out of order, so the 250 code is in
response to
the RCPT TO command, and the 354 ('Enter mail, end with "." on a line
by
itself' is a more normal version) is a confirmation that the system is
now
waiting for a message.
Oh, yeah, you're right about who owns that 250 line.
