Hello, I use mimedefang rpm on fedora 11.
I notice there are numerous settings available in /etc/sysconfig/mimedefang but I cannot find any documentation. Does anyone know where the documentation is for that? For example, the following settings look real interesting but are off by default: MX_RELAY_CHECK=no MX_HELO_CHECK=no MX_SENDER_CHECK=no MX_RECIPIENT_CHECK=no How does it check sender? How does it check recipients? I am using the server as a filter only which forwards to another server. It would be a great thing if mimedefang could check senders and receivers but it seems too good to be true. I turned on the relay and helo check. Was that a good idea or is that redundant to other tests?
