I *detest* the procmail syntax, and keep meaning One Of These Days
to poke around with Mail::Audit.
Same here. I tried to switch a few years ago, but couldn't replicate
all of the procmailisms I was using without a lot of extra pain, so I
gave up.
Anyway, I asked the current maintainer of Mail::Audit about the current
status of that module, and he suggested Email::Filter as the better
choice.
